By the Heat of the Bayou
The Weesian Radlands have been here much longer than folks have ever walked in the Americas and will be here long after the fools have finally finished killing each other. The swamps and bayous have existed since long before the Fall when President–General Andee Jacksun launched his atomics against the recoated Koobans when they sought to conquer him and his. They have been fought over with limey, Frenchie, Española, yankee and reb blood all mixed in to the foul gumbo that are the swamps. During the fall the waste ship MV Kunski Lepse ran aground as her infected crew lost their already limited sailing skills; depositing a hint of atomic waste in to the pot. In modern times the Texicans try to claim the area but have neither the men nor motivation to get their hands dirty and ‘pacify’ it. In the east N’Awlins dominated but as you go away from her bright lights things take on a darker shape. The Cajun folk of the west swamps try to get along, well until you insult or injure them, but can turn with fearful results.
Set in the post-apocalyptic horror world of Behold a Pale Horse and Old New Mexico Tales using the Savage Worlds Deluxe rule set.
Standard character creation but bonus starting xp for a good detailed character background.
