Duke City and the Duchy of Albuquerque

Duke Dwayne of Albuquerque is the ruler of the old city and the surrounding Bernalillo County. He is a client of the Amerikan Reich who aided him in crushing the other rival factions that were fighting for control. His rapid adoption of National Socialism came with an aid package of weapons and volunteer advisers from the Reich.

Dwayne Pickler was originally from Arkansas where he lived on banditry, extortion and rustling. As he made more and more enemies he moved west in to New Mexico where his gang had a degree of success till they finally ended up in the employ of the Duke Gang of Albuquerque. He then took over the gang in a bloody coup and established himself as leader with control of his own  territory till the Amerikan Reich representatives arrived and made him an offer he gladly accepted. The newly appointed Duke Dwayne quickly wiped out the rival latino and mixed gangs recruiting conquered ‘whites’ in to his ranks and murdering the rest. The Duke knows he is only in power because of the Reich and he resents this but not too much and not too openly. In turn the Amerikan Reich advisors and staff despise the ill-disciplined and degenerate nature of their new clients but see the alliance as a means to an end.

A Jäger Kompanie of the Atomwaffen Division is stationed at the old USAF Kirtland Air Force Base from where they carry out extensive scouting missions in to southern New Mexico reaching down as far as Alamogordo. A Luftkreise (air command) is also based out of the base with varying numbers of aircraft.

Recently a force of Albuquerque Guards and Reich troops launched an attack on the Navajo Nation to the west. Duke Dwayne sought an enemy and found one willing to fight. The encounter went well for the Duke with a victory under the leadership of Baron Floyd-Willie of Warzone though casualties were high.  Additional ‘volunteers’ have been recruited to rebuild the units and to defend the Duchy from ‘the enemy’.
