Of all the Neo-Nazi groups that thrive in post-apocalyptic America, one of the most successful is the Amerikan Reich. Based out of Colorado the Amerikan Reich has fared well for one major reason, The Florence Vaccine. United States Penitentiary, Administrative Maximum Facility Florence was a super-max security prison that incarcerated the most dangerous criminals in the old USA. It was also used as a test lab for a proto-type vaccine to the Stands Virus that worked to a degree. With a 23% mortality rate it was an imperfect vaccine but one that was tried on the inmates. The Vaccine was also found, in time, to be a hereditary vaccine.
Colorado also became a fall-back position for much of the Old USA with resources pooled there. A steady withdrawal in to the Rocky Mountains was carried out in to defensible positions. The surviving civilian and military leadership of Colorado used the Florence Vaccine extensively, despite the obvious side effects. The inmates of Florence Prison were given immediate release to join the fight, even though several deserted and fled. Of those that stayed many also thrived, as in this new world, an aptitude for violence was an asset not a criminal problem.
Overtime the leadership became increasingly authoritarian. After killing 23% of the population to save the other 77%, one more ruthless decision became easier to make given what had already been done in the past. Many of the ex-inmates had risen within the ranks of local militias and espoused and promoted their own views with much success. Prison gangs such as the Aryan Brotherhood co-operated with more local neo-nazi and white supremacist groups such as the Atomwaffen Division, the American Guard, Sons of Odin and Identity Evropa. With 85% of pre-Fall population ethnically white it became easy to demonise and vilify minorities. A final coup by these fascist elements wiped out the remaining ‘liberal’ element of the leadership and the Amerikan Reich was born.
Beliefs and Doctrines
The Amerikan Reich proclaims its commitment to bringing American National Socialism, first created and embodied by George Lincoln Rockwell, to all the White Working Class people throughout the lands of America. They believe it is their duty to forge a new Amerikan Reich for a wilderness ‘teeming with savages’, and to keep it from returning to that state again.
They believe that the old world’ fell because of the corrupt judeo-capitalist system it was based on. They argue that only strict race laws will protect and nurture white people and their culture. Only those of Aryan blood are allowed to become citizens of the Reich. Citizenship, with the rights which go along with it, is only conferred on those Aryans who prove themselves worthy of it. Only those of ‘sound body and mind’ are entitled to the privilege and honour of belonging to the Reich. Doctrine is that men and women have distinctive but complementary social roles to play, and that just as the man is the natural breadwinner and warrior, so the woman is the natural homemaker. All males most register for military service and all females are expected to marry and bear many children. A panel assess the ‘racial worth’ of all new-borns with those failing being either euthanized or sterilized, depending on severity of the ‘impurity’.
Foreign Relations
The Amerikan Reich claims overlordship of all of the old United States and will at times co-operate with other neo-Nazi and racist organisations such as the Invisible Empire but the alliances never last. The Reich hates many other states including, but not limited to, the Dakota Farmers' Co-operative (Bolsheviks), Garveya (non-Aryan Blacks), the American Reconstruction Councils and Gadsden Co-Prosperity Region (Jewish Corrupt governments). They have mixed views on the Texican Republic and Yellow Texas and are generally well disposed to the Invisible Empire of the Clan and the myriad of other neo-Nazi and racist organisations.
